Nowadays agriculture of the world has receive new advantages since the effective advance of technology. What is precision farming?. Precision farming also known as Precision agriculture is a type of management concept that is based on observing and responding to variations related to Intra field.

Precision agriculture is known for relying on new technologies such as: Information technology, geospatial tools and satellite imagery. The farmers of all Pa farms that used these types of technology are satisfactory aided because it allows them the ability to locate the precise position on their field. The farmers use a type of agriculture GPS called Satellite Navigation "Satellite positioning system" for the precise position. A Satellite Navigation is a system of satellites that allow geospatial positioning with worldwide coverage.

This farming concept first emerged in the United States during the 1980s. At the end of 1980 this method was used to derived one of the first input maps recommendations for pH corrections and fertilizers. Pa farms used GPS receivers and yield sensors as a development from new technologies. Nowadays such systems are known for covering several million of hectares. GPS Precision farming allows the farmer to vary the quantity of fertilizer on the field. The farmer will be aware of spreading the fertilizers in the field areas that definitely needed, which will optimized it used. The Ministry of Agriculture is in charged of the Precision agriculture of the region. Some of their duties relate to promotion, regulation, price supports, agricultural research, invasive species, etc.

This type of agriculture consist of a four stage process with the usage of techniques for the observation of spatial variability. The Precision farming techniques are the following: 1- Geolocation of Data, 2- Characterization of variability, 3- Decision making and 4- Implementation of practices to remedy variability. Some examples of Precision agriculture equipment is the following: GPS receiver, Insight seed command, Skid steer, Harvesting, Hay, UTV, etc.
